SKF motor encoder model BMB-6022E is compatible with TOYOTA 7FB forklift motor speed sensor bearing (part number 14194-10922-71 or 141941092271, 14194-10923-71 or 141941092371). It uses a compact and robust sensor that produces an incremental encoder signal. The sensor is accurate down to zero r/min. An integrated active circuit (requiring an external voltage supply) in the sensor body contains two Hall effect cells that produce an output signal consisting of two square waves.
SKF encoders BMB-6022E are used by many forklift brands as the AC induction motor speed sensor. Typical applications include: Nichiyu, Toyota, E-P, EP-ZL, Liftstar, Noblelift, HELI and MIMA forklifts.
The signals can be interpreted by motor controllers in different ways:
The direction of rotation can be determined from the phase shift, when the rising edge of a signal first appears.
Slow speeds can be determined by measuring the time between two electrical events, events being the rising and falling edge on either square wave.
High speeds can be measured by counting the number of electrical events within a given time period.
SKF BMB-6022E motor encoder units are available as standard with a 4-Pin Connector.
Applied as the direct replacement of TOYOTA 7FB forklift motor speed sensor bearing (part number 14194-10922-71 or 141941092271, 14194-10923-71 or 141941092371), BMB-6022E can be used as the replacement of its equivalent part or ancient 6206 encoders:
